Beth Ertz called me the other day to let me know that her friend and our classmate Bill Hughes had passed away April 18, 2026.
She shared that his son and granddaughter told her Bill loved HHS and our fellow Hornets so much that during the last few weeks of his life, he spent many hours pouring over our yearbook, page by page.

Bill will be interned at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
His son, Brian, would like to coincide with our reunion week for any classmates that may want to attend.
The date will be announced at a later time.
