She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marjorie and Victor Hartzell. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years, Lynn; sons, David (Carla) and Daniel (Marcea); grandchildren, Benjamin (Viktorija), Peter, Ashley, Joshua, Noah, and Sara; and her many friends. Vicki was a sweet, caring, beautiful and talented woman and a dear friend.  We had lots of crazy adventures together, in high school and through the years. She and her wonderful husband, Lynn and I have stayed in loose touch even after I moved from Albuquerque long ago.  Despite physical challenges the last few years, Vicki remained strong, cheerful and witty.  My love to Lynn, who misses her terribly.

sad  Vicki was one of my best friends and we happened to be birthday twins!  We met in 2nd grade when we were in Brownies but didn't become close friends until 7th.  I would walk to her house, wait while she finished getting ready and then we'd walk past 6 houses to Jefferson.  When she got a car in high school, she would pick me up and wait on me!  Some words to describe Vicki are sweet, kind, considerate, positive, happy, smiling, calm, capable, and easy to get along with.  We always had a good time together!  She had a great house for slumber parties and, up to a point, her parents were pretty tolerant.  I went away to college, but we'd try to get together when I'd be home.  I was able to visit her and Lynn once in Sunnyvale, CA, and Ken and I'd see them after they moved back to Albuquerque when we'd visit my parents.  Kudos to Lynn for his love and care for Vicki as he and she faced physical challenges!!  Praying for Lynn and family in their loss!
