Linda and I grew up in the same church. We had many good times at youth group. I remember it took a great majority of the the male members of Trinity Methodist as pallbearers for the families' funeral. Her brother had been killed in a tragic accident years earlier. She and her famly were greatly missed. Vicki V
Vicki, Thanks for that comment. Linda was a very dear friend, and her sister Pat and their parents. I got to know Sue better in later years. I spent many hours Linda's home the 2 years before the accident and was devestated the Sunday evening we heard the news of the crash. I will never forget that Sunday night. Of many of the memories of HHS, the loss of Linda was at the very top. She was a special and precious soul. I was one of the members of Trinity that you spoke of. She is missed indeed.
I enjoyed reading the comments on a dear sweet friend. I too will never forget that Sunday night. In fact, I stayed up the rest of the night waiting for home delivery of the Albuquerque Journal as I would not believe until I saw it in print (it was front page). My oldest daughter is named for her. It's so strange that Linda was small and our Linda is 4' 7"--guess God wanted me to never forget my special friend--and I haven't.
