I was hoping that the website would be available after the reunion so we can keep in touch.  This is a great idea.

I would like to thank the team or committee that put this event together.  The web site is very very good and I have enjoyed seeing many of our classmates photos and learning a little about how everyone is doing.  I look foreward to seeing all very soon.

Larry, I see you fixed a flag recently on "In Memory", would you do so for Bill Luther.  He too served our Country with honor.  I will post the dates as I know them

I am so disappointed that I have to post this message, but we won't be able to make the reunion after all :-(

We were all set to drive our motorhome from Indiana to Albuquerque and I had already registered for both Friday and Saturday nights! But things happen beyond our control - my daughter needs help here with her 3 kids. But I really want to thank the 50th Reunion Committee for all their work - I know it's been a lot! I have really enjoyed reading all the posts from everyone and seeing the profiles to see what everyone is doing after all these years. I will really miss seeing everyone and renewing friendships. My brother and two sisters still live in Albuquerque, so I was looking forward to seeing all my HS friends plus family.

I will try to post some pictures of what I have been doing - retired from Purdue University after 40 years in teaching in higher education - it was time! But we haven't retired from life - we are still writing textbooks and our publisher Wiley & Sons featured us at an International conference in New Orleans this last March. And I just finished competing in my first triathlon last Saturday - I actually finished first in my age group but honestly there was not much competition in the 65-69 age group! Haha - I am more athletic in my 60s than I was in HS - ha go figure!

I am so disappointed to hear that you won't be able to attend the reunion.  I was so looking forward to seeing you.  I am almost in tears hearing this bit of news.  I will have to sit on this a moment. I am so sorry.  We are working on a package, with a t-shirt, a CD/DVD and a keepsake gift.  Also with a few other little things we had gotten for everyone.  Please keep in touch.  We will have the web site open for about a year.  You will be able to keep up with everyone.  You will be missed.... Nancy

Nancy ---- Thanks to you, Larry and The Committee for all of your time and hard work!  I've served on previous committees and know that it's a real effort and committment.  This new program has been wonderful, but I'm sure not without issues.  So many of us will be able to re-connect and stay in touch as a result of this particular reunion.  Tomorrow night is the "big day"  ------ congratulations ----- you guys did it!!!!!

Finally getting "with it" to post something and it simply must be a big THANK YOU to Nancy, Larry and rest of the committee for the time, effort and everything else it has taken to put together this reunion.  A 50th is certainly something that should be done and looks like this one promises to be terrific... thanks to you all.  Looking forward to seeing everyone and hearing great tales of life journneys.  Just hope the memory doesn't fail me too much.  smiley

I also want to thank the entire committee for organizing the reunion.  I know how much time it takes to accomplish such a task.  I had planned to make this reunion as it is really a milestone in our lives.  Hopefully we can have a "55" and those who couldn't attend this year can make that one.  Have a wonderful weekend.  I will be thinking of everyone.

It's wonderful to see everyone and to catch up with you, and amazing to learn it will continue on the website for at least another year! Hope some of you who couldn't make it will join in the fun! Best to one and all!!

A job VERY well done---everyone enjoyed themselves.  Great to see OLD familiar faces and to reconnect with so many.  Thank you, Larry, Janet, Nancy and Mark, for putting yourselves out there to bring us all together.  You made special memories for us all.

Nancy, Janet, Larry and Cissy you did an amazing job and I can't thank you enough.  Everyone had their own group of friends in high school but this week-end was just one hugh group and we all had the same thing in common - we are just old friends and we wanted to reunite.  Thanks again for all your hard work - you put together an amazing week-end for all of us.  Jeanne

What a GREAT weekend... re-connecting and just sharing old and new times!!

Most of all - thanks to Larry Wyatt, Cissy King, Nancy (Aimes) & Mark Mayo and Janet (Gator) & Danny Padilla.  The time and effort that went into this weekend is lots more than anyone imagined... and it really paid off in a TERRIFIC weekend of fun, laughter, camaraderie and great memories.

And thanks to everyone who took the time and came to Albuquerque for the festivities.  Looking forward to the 55th... and to see all those who missed the fun of the 50th!!!

The weekend was WONDERFUL. The opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones will be a lasting memory. Thanks so much to the hardworking foursome who made it all happen....Nancy, Cissy, Janet and Larry. You are probably so relieved that it is over and was such a success. We all thank you so much. Let's promise not to wait 10 years but to gather again in 5, or maybe when we are 70. (I can't believe I said that!!)

It was indeed a fabulous weekend.  It was so much fun to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances. Thanks so much to the hard working committee that brought us all together!  Your work is much appreciated. I hope we can do it all again in 5 years!  If there is anything I can do from far away in Seattle to help make that happen, please let me know.

WOW!!!  Great weekend.  Warmed my heart to see friends  that went all the way back to day-care.  The efforts put forth by the 50th committee did not go unnoticed.  I feel very fortunate to be associated with such a distingushed class and thank you all for the ride.  Mark Mayo---I will refer to you as  MR. CHARACTER from now on.  My class ring and I, both thank you.  Can't wait for the 55th.

GOD BLESS you all til then,

Bill Russell

This reunion was the best I have ever attended. I truly enjoyed my host role, as I got the chance after all these years to say; eye to eye;
 "I remember you"…
"You were important in my life at Highland or Jefferson or Zia"…
"Wow! Your accomplishments in life are outstanding! Congratulations!"…
"Remember when".
And I missed talking to some of you too. Please know it was not on purpose.
Let's talk here and make a plan to catch up on our lives and make amends @ the next one...in 2 years when we're 70? The 55th?
