I started my professional career in 1973 in the New York area with American Can Company's consumer paper products operations where I was involved in long-term strategic analyses and distribution center operations.
In the mid eighties, I became a key contributor to the start up of Italian Swiss Colony Wines of California in San Francisco after it was split away from Heublein, its former corporate parent.
In the nineties, I managed the west coast logistics operations for Gerber Products Company’s baby food business and was involved in manufacturing and packaging activities with Tri Valley Growers, a large food processor in California’s Central Valley. Later, I played a key role in the start up of PowerBar, a producer and marketer of athletic energy bars.
For the past 15 years, I have worked for a small consulting firm specializing in packaging optimization and supply chain network design.
