So sorry to hear about Gene.  We were friends in elementary school and on through high school.  Many days, we would walk to and from school together.  We were in different scout troops and can remember our troops competing at camp Zia during the summers.  He will be sorely missed!  Prayers for Gene and his family.

Gene was a good decent man.  I hadn't thought of him in years, but all my memories of him revolve around how pleasant and normal he was.  I hope his family knows or learns about how so many his classmates thought highly of him.  Rest in peace old friend.

Gene was a loyal friend to all of us that he knew.  I had many good times with Gene and could always count on his advice and level-headedness.  Blessings to his family.
