School Story:
I moved to Albuquerque in 1961 from Paris, KY and from a Class C , I started my Sophomore year at Class AAA [at least] HHS! My going out for football (I'd Lettered my Freshman Year at PHS] lasted one day as I saw the avg. lineman weigh in at about 250! So, instead I joint Cross-Country, Track, and Wrestling; I was in a couple of [really forgettable] HHS Plays; and joined a few clubs; and I dated around [...a lot] Then, as military families do, I spent most of my Senior year at Western HS in Georgetown, Washington, DC (!); except when Dad was posted to the Belgium Congo, we all went to stay with my Grandmother, and I graduated from where I started, Paris HS. We were the largest class ever graduated: 54! Fate can be funny.
